Oris Aquis Divers Model: 743-7673-4157RS

Sport diver watches come in many shapes and sizes, but rarely does a piece come along that can turn heads as much as an Aquis by Oris.

The 743-7673-4157RS is a 46mm large wrist lover’s dream, with a band I just can’t stop talking about, and one of the most unique bezels you will find. The sporty green ion-plated bezel is marked beautifully at the 20, 30, 40, and 50 marks with notches every minute from 0-15.

The black dial with white hour and minute indices makes for a perfect contrast and easy time telling in any condition. The sub dial for the sweeping second hand is simple yet elegant, and is placed nicely just above and to the left of the 6 o’clock date display.

The large screw down crown on the 16mm thick stainless steel case adds just enough flair that the bezel does not steal the show entirely. When a sport diver watch comes standard with a rubber strap inevitably the world wants to know how it compares to a classic stainless steel linked band.

In this case Oris hits the mark, and does it with style. The black rubber strap with fold over clasp is imprinted with the Oris logo, and is one of the most comfortable rubber straps I have ever worn. At 25mm wide it may be difficult to find alternative 3rd party replacements, but I think Oris knew you wouldn’t want something else.
